Jason Brown has played a key role in hundreds of criminal cases, from routine traffic tickets and DWI to much more serious matters such as first-degree murder, methamphetamine possession and distribution cases, criminal sexual conduct, fraud, theft, assault and others. Jason is a former public defender and law clerk to Chief Judge Timothy R. Bloomquist of Minnesota's Tenth Judicial District.
In addition to his criminal defense work, he is frequently appointed by the courts to represent individuals facing civil commitment in Minnesota, including many level three sex offenders and an accused murderer.
He is a former associate to one of Minnesota's top trial attorneys, Fred Pritzker, and has tried a wide range of cases to a jury and the court. In some cases, Jason's efforts have resulted in outright dismissal of criminal charges both before and during trial.
Jason is a magna cum laude graduate of Minnesota State University at Mankato and an honors graduate of the William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul.
Cynthia Brown's experience in the criminal justice system is remarkable. She has served the law in a multitude of capacities over the last fifteen years, whether as a prosecutor, public defender, criminal investigator, judicial law clerk or as private defense counsel. As a recognized leader in criminal defense, Cynthia has been interviewed on by numerous media outlets concerning Minnesota criminal law and procedure, including ABC News.
Cynthia has successfully represented hundreds of clients in criminal court throughout Minnesota, including DWI, assault, criminal sexual conduct, controlled substance and fraud cases. While Cynthia has been able to resolve most issues through favorable plea negotiations, she has also taken many cases to trial. She takes an aggressive approach in the defense of criminal charges.
Cynthia obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Dakota, magna cum laude, and earned her law degree at the William Mitchell College of Law.
